About the Project

A private farmhouse residence for Mr. Robin Kasna, the project is located in lush green surrounds at Builder’s Area in Bhagmalpuram, Greater Noida. It offers generous living spaces carefully zoned and positioned to get maximum benefit of climatic conditions and surrounding landscape. This amazing dream home called the Kasana Villa sprawls across 3.9 acres of lush green landscape and has been designed with Vaastu as one of the top most considerations. Landscaped outdoors form a major highlight of the project and boast of large open lawns, water bodies & fountains, a swimming pool & club, a putting green, a performance area with stage, a bon-fire pit, sit-out spaces, herbal gardens etc: that provide a host of interesting spaces to engage with and further help to define private and semi-private zones and entry points throughout the site.

The Villa
Farmhouses can be seen as hedonistic, hermetic, and at some level an introspective archetype or ‘territories’ that allow us to explore alternative models of habitat, ranging from typological explorations, experiential constructs, to sometimes idea-based, rather than formal (form-based) designs. At Kasana Villa, the richness of the contemporary architectural idiom in blending interior and exterior spaces provides for a unified architectural expression. The English architectural elements – columns, cornices, grooves with carving on the surface are blended to give the house a unique royal character.

The main entrance of the plot is towards North side with a circular approach road leading to a double height entry porch that adds to the grandness of the villa. The double height twin columns perfectly balance the off centered main entrance of the house. The villa offers 11 bedrooms with indoor/ outdoor living areas and large entertainment spaces. To connect the interior spaces to the outdoors, terraces have been provided at first and second floor levels and a courtyard in the center. On the exterior, all major living areas and terraces enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding greens. Interior spaces open into a central courtyard overlooking a palatial double height living area. The building itself has been positioned off center to give way to a large front lawn. For the outdoor landscape, simple textures and materials have been used with extensive landscaping and plantation to add sculptural and foliage accents.
