‘Vijnatham’ is to know the supreme reality by continuous process of gathering knowledge. The BGS Vijnatham Campus at Greater Noida, is an integrated institutional campus housing a Secondary School, Nursing college, Management College, Engineering College and other graduation courses.
All the building blocks, which are interconnected by means of covered colonnades and courtyards as per concept, which is the demand of climate of the place. Landscaped green spaces provided for welcome ambience and motivation to both people studying there and visitors. The courtyards being green, create spaces for interactive studies with a constant airy flow through the spaces. Separate entry and exits are planned to and from the site for easy vehicular movement.
The campus has been designed on a “universal design concept” – to provde barrier free access to all users. Green building elements have been given great importance – like LED solar street lighting, solar panels, cavity walls, sunken windows, rainwater harvesting, energy efficient lighting, and optimum use of daylight to name a few. The building facade has been designed with a blend of classical and colonial style of architecture to create a formal yet playful composition of elements.
